Final Table of Contents #45

Welcome back!

Today I will be showing you my final Table of Contents.

A fine example of magazine design today with personality, organization, and visuals is Velour's table of contents. Even without a standard "Contents" heading, the obvious function comes from a clear layout in two columns, and distinct numbers for each page. The reader is led through the magazine's various sections, which range from fashion statements and trends to in-depth analyses of confidence and self-expression, through use of clear, attention-grabbing headlines and succinct descriptions.

The habitual utilization of color (blue, black, and white) and simple sans-serif font sustains a refined and stylish tone. It fully complements the identity of the magazine. Elijah Costoso's feature is prominently highlighted, through being listed first as well as with a fascinating photo plus a pull quote that highlights his importance as the issue's main character.

Images are used well enough in the spread without taking over all of the text. Elijah's image mirrors the magazine's stress on flair and personality via natural light and a confident pose. Balance and that feeling of luxurious living are further added via the picturesque, serene contrast shown by that marina shot at the bottom part. Both of the photos are crisp, subtly altered, and blend in well with the general design of the page.

Their outdoor, bright, as well as fresh backdrop tones form a visual unified theme. The arrangement adheres to important editorial design guidelines, which do include careful positioning to help maintain content's readability, visual appeal, consistency in background, lighting, as well as variation in image size, composition. With several things considered, this contents page conveys style, individuality, and purpose. The contents page does so effectively and stylishly.

Thank you!
