Feature Story Draft #36

Hello, everyone!

Here is my draft for the feature story. It is still in the works; I will touch it up if I need to or feel like it could be better. So here is the draft:

Elijah is very popular at school because of what he wears. A lot of people are into his style and often ask him about his clothes. He says his style is like nice American High clothes, but not exactly. It is a little hard to explain, but it definitely works. He likes to change his style and wear different clothes sometimes, which people think is cool. He says he started to love fashion after he discovered himself, as well as that seems right.

Elijah likes trying a number of different outfits. His style is rarely ever the same. Although it is frequently different, people truly seem to appreciate it regardless. He also has a big love for earth tones, like brown and green, along with cream. Almost all of his clothes have those colors, and he says he cannot stop buying them. It is a little funny, but he at least knows what he likes.

There was a time in the past when Elijah would wear lots of things with stars. He liked wearing many star-covered items. For example, not only one item among others, but all other things. Star shirts, star headphones, star glasses—it was clearly rather overboard. But, for some strange reason, people definitely began to copy from him. Before that time, no one wore stars, so it was good that he made it loved at school. He calls that period his “Star Boy” time, and he says he will not ever forget it.

A lot of people call Elijah a “Style Icon,” and he likes that. He feels happy when people ask about his clothes or say they want to dress like him. He also loves Spirit Week at school, as he can play around with different styles along with show them off. He puts a lot of work into how he dresses, and people see it. Elijah notes that multiple music artists and models, for example Billie Eilish, Tyler, the Creator, and Doechii, give him large inspiration. He gains a fair amount of it from those people. His friends help him a lot and say that he looks nice, and this makes him feel better. It's truly good that he has several people quite nearby who greatly support him.

However, some people do not get the style of Elijah. It is not true that some think he has too much pride just because of his nice clothes. He states he once had great concern about others' views, but currently, his concern is quite reduced. He says the only ideas that really count are the certain ones he chooses to think about, which is a pretty fine way to view it. He mentions that his clothing has a big effect on his mood. Also, he says that how he dresses really changes how he feels. His clothes look a little more put together when things are going good for him. But, when his energy is low or he feels bad, he puts on clothes that feel better. He calls it "bum-like," but really, his casual clothes appear somewhat stylish.

Elijah has no current deep thoughts about his appearance now, but he tells people he is truly happy to still play around. The main piece of advice he gives to people who wish to dress in a more attractive way is to just obtain clothing that gives them pleasure and construct a Pinterest board for ideas. This is simple advice, as well as it may assist people not sure where to begin.

Elijah says he has learned to care a lot less about what other people think. He says that it has made him surer of himself. He also feels a bit less worried about his looks. That is surely a good thing to know, mostly for high school.

He’s not afraid to try new things, even if they’re kind of out there, and people seem to like that about him.

That is the draft for today!
